Product Description

• A blend of soft cereal straw with chopped and pelleted nutrient-rich alfalfa.

• Contains no added sugar (2.5%) and low in starch (1.5%).

• Healthy Hooves Molasses Free is low in calories, providing 8.5MJ/kg of Digestible Energy.

• A light rapeseed oil coating provides slow-release energy and coat shine.

• Includes garlic to tempt fussy horses and ponies.

• Healthy Hooves Molasses Free is packed with B vitamins including biotin at levels that research has shown to improve hoof quality.

• Ideal for horses in light work, good do-ers and laminitis prone horses.

• When fed at the recommend rate (500g per 100kg bodyweight) Healthy Hooves Molasses Free will provide your horse with a balanced diet.

• Several studies have been conducted into how much biotin a horse requires. A study published in the Equine Vet Journal (1992), found that greater growth rates and hardness of hooves was achieved at a daily feeding rate of 15mg of biotin than at 7.5mg in horses’ diets. The level of biotin included in Dengie Healthy Hooves Molasses Free has been formulated accordingly and thus when fed at the recommended rates will provide a 500kg horse with 15mg of biotin per day.

• Research published in the Vet Record (1987) demonstrated that alfalfa increases the quality and quantity of horn growth which was attributed to the highly available calcium and essential amino acids found naturally in alfalfa.

Click & Collect

A free of charge Click & Collect service is readily available in all of our stores. This means you now have the option of placing an order online to pick up at your chosen store. When you have selected the item(s) you wish to Click & Collect, add them to your basket and follow the instructions to proceed to the checkout. On the delivery options page you can then select which of our stores you wish to collect your order from. We aim for your order to be ready to collect for your chosen collection date/time, if stock is available at your chosen store. You will receive an email when your order is ready to be collected and you will have 7 days to collect your order once it is ready. Payment for Click & Collect orders will be taken at the tills in your local store upon collection. Mole Avon account holders will be able to receive their discount and book the order to their account if required. Delivery

Delivery is available on any qualifying products available on our website. The product must be available from our Crediton store to be valid for delivery. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) under 20kg is £6.49. Next Day delivery (1 to 2 working days) under 20kg is £7.49 We currently use DPD for our deliveries. Returns

If you wish to return an item that you ordered with online via Click & Collect, please take the item(s) to your local store along with your order confirmation. If you wish to return or exchange an item that you ordered online via Delivery, please go to www.moleavon.co.uk/returns. Please fill out the returns form and email to web@moleavon.co.uk. Please also post your item(s) back to Online Returns, Mole Avon Country Stores, Joseph Locke Way, Crediton, EX17 3FD. Once we have received your item(s), we will process a refund. In order to receive a refund or exchange you must: Provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned. Return the item(s) within 28 days of being purchased. Return the item(s) in a resellable condition with its original packaging unless faulty.

Local Delivery

Local FREE deliveries are available to anyone within a 20 mile radius of our Country Stores upon request (FREE for a minimum order of £250 or over), deliveries under £250 will be charged at a standard rate of £25. Deliveries are kerbside and at the drivers discretion. Any deliveries requiring more than one person will incur additional fees. We currently use James Moore Haulage for our local deliveries.
