Product Description

Uses:

The treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations in cats. The product controls infestations with Felicola subrostratus biting lice on cats.

Dosage:

Dosage: 1 pipette of 0.5 ml per cat (approximately 7.5 – 15 mg/kg).
Method of administration: Hold upright. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure the contents are within the main body of the pipette. Break back the snap-off top from the spot-on pipette along the scored line.
Part the coat between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette against the skin and squeeze gently to empty its contents directly onto the skin, preferably at two spots, one at the base of the skull and a second 2-3cms further back.
Care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the product since this will cause a sticky appearance of hairs at the treatment spot. However, should this occur, it will disappear within 24 hours post application.
In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Contraindications:

Do not use on kittens less than 8 weeks old and/or weighing less than 1 kg.
Do not use on animals that are unwell, are undergoing treatment for, or are recovering from illness.
Do not use in rabbits, as adverse drug reactions and even death could occur.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients.
When treating infestations of lice, all in-contact cats should be treated with an appropriate product at the same time.
For optimum control of flea problems in a multi-pet household, all dogs and cats in the household should be treated with a suitable insecticide.
There may be an attachment of single ticks. For this reason transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely excluded if conditions are unfavourable.
Fleas from pets often infest the animal's basket, bedding and regular resting areas such as carpets and soft furnishings which should be treated, in case of massive infestation and at the beginning of the control measures, with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed regularly.
FRONTLINE Spot On Cat prevents re-infestation with all stages of Rhipicephalus spp. Dermacentor spp. and Ixodes spp. ticks for up to one month, depending on the level of environmental challenge.
No data on the effect of bathing/shampooing on the efficacy of the product in cats are available. However, based on information available for dogs shampooed from 2 days after application of the product, it is not recommended to bath animals within 2 days after application of the product.

Delivery is available on any qualifying products available on our website. The product must be available from our Crediton store to be valid for delivery. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) under 20kg is £4.49. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) over 20kg is from £5.99. Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) under 20kg is £5.99. Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) over 20kg is from £6.99. Additional delivery charges for larger items and non Mainland UK postcodes apply. Returns

If you wish to return an item that you ordered with online via Click & Collect, please take the item(s) to your local store along with your order confirmation. If you wish to return or exchange an item that you ordered online via Delivery, please go to www.moleavon.co.uk/returns. Please fill out the returns form and email to web@moleavon.co.uk. Please also post your item(s) back to Online Returns, Mole Avon Country Stores, Joseph Locke Way, Crediton, EX17 3FD. Once we have received your item(s), we will process a refund. Local Delivery

Local FREE deliveries are available to anyone within a 20 mile radius of our Country Stores upon request (FREE for a minimum order of £350 or over), deliveries under £350 will be charged at a standard rate of £35. Deliveries are kerbside only and at the drivers discretion. Any deliveries requiring more than one person or outside of our local delivery area will incur additional fees.
