Zoetis Covexin 10 Suspension Injection For Cattle & Sheep

Product Description

Uses: 

• Sheep: from 2 weeks of age: Dose - 1 ml.
• Cattle: from 2 weeks of age: Dose - 2 ml.
• By subcutaneous injection at a suitable site. The recommended site is the loose skin on the side of the neck.
• The bottle should be well shaken before any vaccine is withdrawn.
• Syringes and needles should be sterile before use and the injection should be made through an area of clean, dry skin taking precautions against contamination.
• Basic vaccination scheme: Two doses should be administered, 4-6 weeks apart (see section "Indications for use, specifying the target species" and "Special warnings for each target species").
• Re-vaccination scheme: A single dose should be administered every 6 to 12 months after the basic vaccination scheme (see also point "Indications for use, specifying the target species".
• Use in pregnancy: To provide passive protection of the offspring, via the colostrum, a single booster dose should be administered between 8 and 2 weeks before parturition, provided that animals have received a full basic vaccination course before pregnancy.

Contraindications: 

• Do not use in sick or immunodeficient animals.
• Vaccinate healthy animals only.
• The effectiveness of the vaccine in providing passive immunity to young lambs and calves depends on these animals ingesting adequate amounts of colostrum on the first day of life.
• Clinical trials have demonstrated that the presence of maternal antibodies, particularly against C. tetani, C. novyi type B, C. perfringens type A (calves only), C. chauvoei (lambs only) and C. perfringens type D may reduce the antibody response to vaccination in young lambs and calves. Therefore, to ensure an optimal response in young animals with high levels of MDA, the basic vaccination should be delayed until the levels wane (which is after about 8-12 weeks of age).
• Avoid stress in pregnant ewes and cows.
• No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other veterinary medicinal product. A decision to use this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis.
• Withdrawal Period: Zero days.

Click & Collect

We aim for your order to be ready to collect for your chosen collection date/time, if stock is available at your chosen store. You will have 7 days to collect your order from your collection date once it is ready. Payment for Click & Collect orders is either completed online when you place your order, or can be taken at the tills in your local store upon collection. Mole Avon account holders will be able to receive their discount and book the order to their account if required. Delivery

Delivery is available on any qualifying products available on our website. The product must be available from our Crediton store to be valid for delivery. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) under 20kg is £2.25. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) over 20kg is from £5.99. Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) under 20kg is £5.99. Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) over 20kg is from £6.99. Additional delivery charges for larger items and non Mainland UK postcodes apply. Returns

If you wish to return an item that you ordered with online via Click & Collect, please take the item(s) to your local store along with your order confirmation. If you wish to return or exchange an item that you ordered online via Delivery, please go to www.moleavon.co.uk/returns. Please fill out the returns form and email to web@moleavon.co.uk. Please also post your item(s) back to Online Returns, Mole Avon Country Stores, Joseph Locke Way, Crediton, EX17 3FD. Once we have received your item(s), we will process a refund. In order to receive a refund or exchange you must: Provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned. Return the item(s) within 28 days of being purchased. Return the item(s) in a resellable condition with its original packaging unless faulty.

Local Delivery

Local FREE deliveries are available to anyone within a 20 mile radius of our Country Stores upon request (FREE for a minimum order of £350 or over), deliveries under £350 will be charged at a standard rate of £35. Deliveries are kerbside only and at the drivers discretion. Any deliveries requiring more than one person or outside of our local delivery area will incur additional fees.
