Product Description

Uses:

• A water-based, ready to use, pour-on formulation, containing 65mg/ml dicyclanil.
• Prevention of blowfly strike on sheep caused by Lucilia sericata or Wohlfahrtia magnifica.

Dosage: 

• For external use only.
• The veterinary medicinal product is applied according to the following recommendations: 10 - 20kg bodyweight: 20ml, 21 - 30kg bodyweight: 24ml, 31 - 50kg bodyweight: 30ml, over 50kg bodyweight: 36ml.
• To ensure administration of a correct dose, bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible; accuracy of the dosing device should be checked.
• If animals are to be treated collectively rather than individually, they should be grouped according to their bodyweight and dosed accordingly, in order to avoid under- or overdosing.
• Recommended for treatment in sheep with any wool length, including off-shears. Shake the container well before use.
• Do not dilute with water.
• The veterinary medicinal product must be applied with a manual or automatic dosing gun, fitted with a spray nozzle, which guarantees the correct spreading of the product on the fleece. Best results will be achieved by holding the gun approximately 45 cm from the sheep during application. Apply as a fan spray along the spine of the animal in bands at least 10 cm wide from the middle of the shoulders and in an arc around the crutch and tail. Half the dose should be applied along the spine with the remainder over the tail and crutch area.
• The veterinary medicinal product should be applied before, or at the start of, predicted fly activity.
• The veterinary medicinal product will protect against fly strike for 19 weeks. It is good agricultural practice to check animals regularly for fly strike.

Contraindications: 

• Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• The veterinary medicinal product is best applied before an anticipated blowfly challenge, or when a blowfly challenge is identified on, or in the vicinity of, the farm. Established strikes may require a separate treatment with a knockdown insecticide.
• It is recommended that animals with dirty back-ends are dagged or crutched prior to application. If dagging or crutching is undertaken in the weeks following application, these animals should be re-treated, otherwise protection could be lost.
• Do not apply during heavy rainfall, or when such conditions are expected. The resulting wash out may reduce the protection period.
• The safety of the veterinary medicinal product has not been established during pregnancy or lactation. Use according to the benefit/risk assessment by the responsible veterinarian.
• Laboratory studies in rats and rabbits have not produced any evidence of teratogenic, foetotoxic or maternotoxic effects.
• Withdrawal Period: Meat and offal: 40 days
• Not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.

When you have selected the item(s) you wish to Click & Collect, add them to your basket and follow the instructions to proceed to the checkout. On the delivery options page you can then select which of our stores you wish to collect your order from. We aim for your order to be ready to collect for your chosen collection date/time, if stock is available at your chosen store. You will have 7 days to collect your order from your collection date once it is ready. Payment for Click & Collect orders is either completed online when you place your order, or can be taken at the tills in your local store upon collection. Mole Avon account holders will be able to receive their discount and book the order to their account if required. Delivery is available on any qualifying products available on our website. The product must be available from our Crediton store to be valid for delivery. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) under 20kg is £2.25. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) over 20kg is from £5.99. Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) under 20kg is £5.99. Express delivery (1 to 2 working days) over 20kg is from £6.99. Additional delivery charges for larger items and non Mainland UK postcodes apply. Returns

If you wish to return an item that you ordered with online via Click & Collect, please take the item(s) to your local store along with your order confirmation. If you wish to return or exchange an item that you ordered online via Delivery, please go to www.moleavon.co.uk/returns. Please fill out the returns form and email to web@moleavon.co.uk. Please also post your item(s) back to Online Returns, Mole Avon Country Stores, Joseph Locke Way, Crediton, EX17 3FD. Once we have received your item(s), we will process a refund. In order to receive a refund or exchange you must: Provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned. Return the item(s) within 28 days of being purchased. Return the item(s) in a resellable condition with its original packaging unless faulty.

Local Delivery

Local FREE deliveries are available to anyone within a 20 mile radius of our Country Stores upon request (FREE for a minimum order of £350 or over), deliveries under £350 will be charged at a standard rate of £35. Deliveries are kerbside only and at the drivers discretion. Any deliveries requiring more than one person or outside of our local delivery area will incur additional fees.
