Product Description

• Cool Balancer is a ‘Non-Heating’, cereal-grain-free formula; with low levels of sugar and starch, plus good quality protein to promote topline.
• Cool Balancer provides a very palatable, safe and effective way to improve condition and topline without adding excess calories to the diet.
• Cool Balancer is an economical feed balancer for those horses that do not need a hoof supplement and are not working hard or showing or stressed.
• Feeding Cool Balancer improves the amount of nutrients that a horse can extract from his feed in very similar ways to Comprehensive Feed Balancer.
• Because the horse can extract more nutrients from forage the amount of concentrate that needs to be fed can be reduced. This benefits digestion and is a more natural way of feeding leading to a more relaxed horse.
• The forage to concentrate ratio is also improved because Cool Balancer is very nutrient-dense. It is fed in very small quantities, for example just 500g (approximately two TopSpec measures) a day for a typical 15.2hh middleweight weighing 500kg.
• A small amount of hard feed obviously leaves more space in the digestive system for forage than a large hard feed.
• Because it contains very low levels of sugar and starch and is fed in very low amounts, the chance of excess sugars and starch overflowing from the foregut to the hindgut and causing a microbial imbalance leading to acidic conditions, is virtually eliminated. Therefore the chances of a horse behaving badly due to ‘acid guts’ are minimised.
• Cool Balancer contains generous levels of B vitamins, some of which have long been considered helpful for their relaxing effect. It also contains helpful levels of anti-oxidants which can certainly help to neutralise the effects of stress in a horse and by so doing, may help him relax.
• Magnesium is included at 0.6% which will contribute 3g of magnesium per day to the diet of a 500kg horse. This may help some horses to concentrate better, particularly when stressed.

Click & Collect

A free of charge Click & Collect service is readily available in all of our stores. This means you now have the option of placing an order online to pick up at your chosen store. When you have selected the item(s) you wish to Click & Collect, add them to your basket and follow the instructions to proceed to the checkout. On the delivery options page you can then select which of our stores you wish to collect your order from. We aim for your order to be ready to collect for your chosen collection date/time, if stock is available at your chosen store. You will receive an email when your order is ready to be collected and you will have 7 days to collect your order once it is ready. Payment for Click & Collect orders will be taken at the tills in your local store upon collection. Mole Avon account holders will be able to receive their discount and book the order to their account if required. Delivery

Delivery is available on any qualifying products available on our website. The product must be available from our Crediton store to be valid for delivery. Standard delivery (3 to 5 working days) under 20kg is £6.49. Next Day delivery (1 to 2 working days) under 20kg is £7.49 We currently use DPD for our deliveries. Returns

If you wish to return an item that you ordered with online via Click & Collect, please take the item(s) to your local store along with your order confirmation. If you wish to return or exchange an item that you ordered online via Delivery, please go to www.moleavon.co.uk/returns. Please fill out the returns form and email to web@moleavon.co.uk. Please also post your item(s) back to Online Returns, Mole Avon Country Stores, Joseph Locke Way, Crediton, EX17 3FD. Once we have received your item(s), we will process a refund. In order to receive a refund or exchange you must: Provide proof of purchase for the item(s) being returned. Return the item(s) within 28 days of being purchased. Return the item(s) in a resellable condition with its original packaging unless faulty.

Local Delivery

Local FREE deliveries are available to anyone within a 20 mile radius of our Country Stores upon request (FREE for a minimum order of £250 or over), deliveries under £250 will be charged at a standard rate of £25. Deliveries are kerbside and at the drivers discretion. Any deliveries requiring more than one person will incur additional fees. We currently use James Moore Haulage for our local deliveries.
